principles I try to build by:
- prevention beats rescue (most of the time)
- data is only useful if it changes action
- interpretability matters in medicine
- build systems that work in the real world, not just in papers
- start small, measure hard, iterate fast
- privacy and trust are core product features
- the best UI is clarity
- the best model is the one that survives deployment
- health is multi-factorial; single signals lie
- make it easy for clinicians to say "yes"
